ORDER

Patrick J. Urda, Judge.

This case is currently calendared for trial at the Court's San Diego, California, remote trial session, which is scheduled to begin September 20, 2021. On August 19, 2021, Richard Carpenter, counsel for petitioner Richard Horner, filed unopposed motions to withdraw as counsel and for a continuance. We will grant both motions. Accordingly, it is

ORDERED that petitioner's motion for continuance, filed August 19, 2021, is granted. It is further

ORDERED that this case is stricken from the Court's September 20, 2021, San Diego, California, remote trial calendar and restored to the general docket. It is further

ORDERED that Mr. Carpenter's motion to withdraw as counsel, filed August 19, 2021, is granted, and that Richard Carpenter is hereby withdrawn as counsel in this case. As a result, Mr. Horner shall represent himself and shall be responsible for preparing his case for trial and complying with this Court's rules and orders.
