Hong Jun Chan & Suzhen Mei Petitioners v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue Respondent
ORDER
Albert G. Lauber Judge
This case is calendared on the Court's October 4, 2021, Los Angeles, California, trial session, which will be held remotely via Zoomgov. On July 2, 2021, respondent filed a Motion for Summary Judgment. On July 8, 2021, we directed petitioners to respond to respondent's Motion on or before August 9, 2021, and warned that "under Tax Court Rule 121(d), judgment may be entered against a party who fails to respond to a Motion for Summary Judgment."
Petitioners did not respond to our Order by August 9 or subsequently. We will strike this case from the upcoming trial session and continue it so that the undersigned can decide respondent's Motion for Summary Judgment. In consideration of the foregoing, it is
ORDERED that this case is stricken from the Court's October 4, 2021, Los Angeles, California, trial session and is continued. It is further
ORDERED that jurisdiction of this case is retained by the undersigned.
