Court of Appeals of Texas, Fifth District, Dallas
Feb 18, 2011
No. 05-10-00114-CV (Tex. App. Feb. 18, 2011)

Opinion

No. 05-10-00114-CV

Opinion issued February 18, 2011.

On Appeal from the County Court at Law No. 1, Dallas County, Texas, Trial Court Cause No. CC-09-07781-A.

Before Chief Justice WRIGHT and Justices O'NEILL and LANG-MIERS.

MEMORANDUM OPINION

By letter dated December 2, 2010, the Court notified appellant that the brief she tendered on November 16, 2010 was wholly deficient. We directed her to file, within ten days, an amended brief that complied with the Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure. We warned that failure to file an amended brief would result in dismissal of the appeal without further notice. On January 10, 2011, the Court granted appellant an extension of time to file her amended brief. To date, appellant has not filed an amended brief or communicated with the Court regarding the appeal. Accordingly, we strike the deficient brief tendered on November 16, 2010 and dismiss the appeal. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.8(a)(1), 42.3(c).
