The petitioner Dean Holliday's petition for certification to appeal from the Appellate Court, 184 Conn. App. 228, 194 A.3d 867 (AC 39234), is granted, limited to the following issue:

"Did the Appellate Court properly uphold the habeas court's sua sponte dismissal of the petition for a writ of habeas corpus under Practice Book § 23-29 prior to the appointment of counsel for the self-represented petitioner and without providing the petitioner with notice and an opportunity to be heard?"

D'AURIA, J., did not participate in the consideration of or decision on this petition.
