FRANK J. HOLDAMPF D/B/A SPINNING H RANCH, Appellant v. GLASSCOCK COUNTY, TEXAS, ET AL., Appellees
On Appeal from the 118th District Court Glasscock County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. 1737
MEMORANDUM OPINION
Frank J. Holdampf d/b/a Spinning H Ranch filed a notice of appeal from various orders related to motions to recuse. When the appeal was filed, the clerk of this court notified the parties that it did not appear that Appellant was appealing from a final, appealable order. We requested that Appellant file a response showing grounds to continue this appeal. On January 21, 2016, after being notified by Appellant that the trial court had set the case for a hearing "to hear multiple dispositive motions," we abated the appeal and gave the parties until March 21, 2016, to obtain a final order or judgment. As of this date, no final judgment has been entered. For the reasons stated in the January 21 abatement order, we have no jurisdiction to entertain this appeal at this time. Accordingly, we dismiss the appeal because we have no jurisdiction and because the parties have failed to obtain a final judgment by March 21, 2016, as requested. See TEX. R. APP. P. 42.3.
This appeal is dismissed.
