ORDER

On order of the Court, the application for leave to appeal the May 30, 2024 judgment of the Court of Appeals is considered. We DIRECT the defendants to file a supplemental brief within 28 days after the date of this order, directly addressing the plaintiffs' argument that plaintiff Krista Anson is not a "prisoner" under the Prison Litigation Reform Act, MCL 600.5531(e), because she was not "subject to incarceration, detention, or admission to a prison" at the time that the action was filed in this case.

The application for leave to appeal remains pending.
