The reporter's record in this case was originally due on June 17, 2024. Ms. Fattahi is the court reporter responsible for preparing, certifying, and filing the reporter's record in this appeal. On June 24, 2024, this court noted the court reporter's first request for an extension of time to file the record and extended the deadline to until July 17, 2024. On July 18, 2024, this court granted the court reporter's second request for an extension of time to file the record until August 19, 2024. On August 9, 2024, Ms. Fattahi requested an additional thirty days to file the reporter's record. In her notice of late record, Ms. Fattahi explained that she has not received a proper request for preparation of the reporter's record in this criminal matter and cited Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure 25.1(f) and 34.6(b)(1). See Tex. R. App. P. 25.1(f) (detailing the trial court clerk's duties in civil appeals); id. R. 34.6(b)(1) (explaining the procedure to request the reporter's record). The clerk's record does not show that Ms. Fattahi has been served with request for preparation of the reporter's record.
The request is GRANTED IN PART. Counsel for appellant is ORDERED to serve Ms. Fattahi with a request in compliance with Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 34.6(b) no later than August 19, 2024. Ms. Fattahi is ORDERED to file the reporter's record no later than September 6, 2024. FURTHER REQUESTS FOR EXTENSION OF TIME TO FILE THE REPORTER'S RECORD WILL BE DISFAVORED.
