On May 10, 2024, we ordered that appellant is allowed to proceed with his appeal pro se. We also allowed appellant the assistance of standby counsel appointed by the trial court. Further we ordered the reporter's record to be filed by June 10, 2024. The reporter's record has now been filed.
Pending before the court are several motions and letters filed by appellant requesting access to the appellate record. Also pending before the court is standby counsel's motion on behalf of appellant for access to the record. Appellant's request to access the record is GRANTED. It is ORDERED that the District Clerk of Guadalupe County shall prepare and send a full and complete duplicate copy of the clerk's record and the reporter's record for cause number 22-0495-CR-B to appellant at: Roscell Hines, TDCJ #02496021, Torres Unit, 125 Private Rd. 4303, Hondo, Texas 78861. It is further ORDERED that the District Clerk shall file written notice in this court no later than ten days from the date of this order confirming the date the record was sent to appellant.
It is further ORDERED that, if appellant desires to file a brief, he must do so within thirty days from the date this court receives written notice that the record was sent to appellant by the District Clerk.
All other requests made by appellant and standby counsel in their motions and letters are DENIED without prejudice.
