ORDER

Lewis R. Carluzzo Chief Special Trial Judge

This case for the redetermination of a deficiency, presently set for trial during the New York, New York, trial session scheduled to begin in that city on May 6, 2024, is before the Court on the joint motion for continuance, filed April 5, 2024.

Giving due regard to the representations contained in that motion, and taking into account the Stipulation of Settled Issues, also filed April 5, 2024, it is

ORDERED that the joint motion is set for hearing at the time, date and place shown in the Notice Setting Case for Trial, served January 30, 2024. Otherwise, it is further

ORDERED that the parties need not comply with the obligations imposed upon them in the Standing Pretrial Order, served January 30, 2024.

The Court is inclined to grant the motion. The hearing will (1) focus on the future actions the parties intend to take to prepare the case for trial, or to resolve it without the need for one, and (2) allow for compliance of one or more outstanding subpoenas.
