This case was calendared for trial during the Court's June 17, 2022, Houston, Texas, special trial session. On June 6, 2022, the Court held a conference call with the parties to discuss the current status of the case. As discussed during the conference call, to give the parties additional time to review documents and engage in possible settlement discussions, the case was stricken from the Court's June 17, 2022, Houston, Texas, special trial session. On October 17, 2022, respondent filed a Status Report (Doc. 41). By Order served October 21, 2022, the parties were directed to file a further status report or a stipulated decision document on or before January 4, 2023.
On January 3, 2023, respondent filed a Status Report (Doc. 43). On January 10, 2023, the Court held a conference call with the parties to discuss, among other things, the current status of the case.
The Court would benefit from holding a hearing on the status of the case. Upon due consideration, it is hereby
ORDERED that this case is scheduled for a hearing on the status of the case at the Court's March 15, 2023, Washington, D.C., special hearing session to be conducted remotely at a date and time certain of 1:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) on Wednesday, March 15, 2023. It is further
ORDERED that the Clerk of the Court shall issue a Notice of Remote Proceeding that shall contain comprehensive instructions on how to participate in the above-referenced proceeding.
The undersigned judge will preside at the above-referenced hearing.
This Order constitutes official notice to the parties of the scheduled hearing.
