Henson v. Horizon Health Services. Inc.

PETER A MESSITTE UNITED STATES DISTRICT JUDGE

Dear Ms. Oshodi, The Court has received correspondence from Kenneth Maxwell Bernas, Esq., your court-appointed attorney (attached), Mr. Bernas states that to date he has not been able to reach you or any other member of Horizon Health Services, Inc., regarding this matter. As stated in the Court's December 22, 2021 letter to you, Mr. Bernas has been appointed to represent Horizon at no cost.

It is possible that Ms. Henson, through counsel, may file a motion for default and eventually a motion for default judgment against Horizon Health Services, Inc. if you do not respond to her suit. See Local Rule 108(2).

Default judgment would establish liability on behalf of your corporation. Ms, Henson would then have to prove damages to the satisfaction of the Court. You would have an opportunity to contest the matter and amount of damages at the time that matter is before the Court.

Again, please take this matter seriously. It may have a significant impact on the financial situation . of your corporation.

Matter Omitted
