I adhere to the views I expressed in my special writing in Casey v. State, [Ms. CR-98-1661, March 16, 2001] ___ So.2d ___ (Ala.Crim.App. 2001); therefore, I disagree with the statement in this Court's unpublished memorandum quoted from the main opinion in Casey that a full pardon "'is irrelevant for purposes of considering prior convictions for sentence enhancement purposes.'" Otherwise, I concur.
