So much of the judgment awarding damages is vacated, and the matter is remanded to the Superior Court for reconsideration of the amount of damages and for modification of the judgment consistent with the memorandum and order of the Appeals Court. The judgment and the order denying the defendant's posttrial motion are otherwise affirmed.
