Pamela J. Hazelwood v. Keith L. Hazelwood
ORDER Trial court case number: 2015-49239 Trial court: 310th District Court of Harris County
Appellant Pamela J. Hazelwood filed an amended brief. A brief must not exceed 15,000 words if computer-generated, or 50 pages if not. TEX. R. APP. P. 9.4(i)(2)(B). Appellant's brief, including the appendix, is 162 pages in length. It does not comply with the Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure because the brief, which appears to be computer-generated, fails to include the required Certificate of Compliance stating the number of words in the document. TEX. R. APP. P. 9.4(i)(3).
Accordingly, the appellant is ordered to file a certificate of compliance as a supplement to her brief. See TEX. R. APP. P. 9.4(i)(2), (i)(3), (k). The supplemental certificate of compliance must be filed within 15 days of the date of this order. The brief will be struck if it exceeds the maximum length allowed by Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 9.4(i)(2) or if the certification of compliance is not filed.
It is so ORDERED. Judge's signature: /s/ Michael Massengale
