ORDER

On March 17, 2020, the trial session scheduled to begin in Houston, Texas, on April 20, 2020, was canceled due to concerns related to COVID-19, and this case was assigned to the undersigned judge. On October 6, 2021, the parties filed a Joint Status Report (Doc. 40) informing the Court that petitioners have yet to be contacted concerning the protest sent to respondent's Appeals Division. The parties further request additional time to allow the offer process to be completed.

The Court is willing to give the parties additional time, but because the undersigned judge is scheduled to preside over the Court's January 24, 2022, Houston, Texas, in-person trial session and believes it to be in the interest of judicial economy to preside over a trial in this case should one be necessary, it is hereby

ORDERED that this case is calendared for trial during the Court's January 24, 2022, Houston, Texas, trial session scheduled to commence at 10:00 a.m. Central Time in Room 7006, 7th Floor, Casey U.S. Courthouse, 515 Rusk Street, Houston, Texas 77002. It is further

ORDERED that the Clerk of the Court shall serve on the parties the Court's Standing Pretrial Order for the January 24, 2022, Houston, Texas, trial session.

This Order constitutes official notice of its contents to the parties.
