Decision released October 26, 1989
Motions to discharge a receiver of rents as to certain real property owned by the named defendant, brought to the Superior Court in the judicial district of Hartford-New Britain at Hartford, where the court, M. Hennessey, J., granted the motions and issued orders discharging the receiver, from which the defendant appealed; thereafter, the court denied the defendant's motions for permission to sue the receiver and to consolidate the appeals and the defendant further appealed to this court. No error.
Stanley V. Tucker, pro se, the appellant (defendant).
F. Gina Gelb, for the appellee (plaintiff Frances Gionfrido).
These appeals came before this court where the named defendant, Stanley Tucker, failed to appear for oral argument.
Because of Tucker's failure to appear, and with the acquiescence of other counsel in attendance, we will decide this case on the record and briefs.
Our review of same and of those issues properly before us reveals that the named defendant's claims of error are without merit.
