Opinion
No. 98-3352.
Opinion filed July 7, 1999.
Appeal from the Circuit Court for the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit, Broward County; Victor Tobin, Judge; L.T. Case No. 93-22274 CF10B.
Richard L. Jorandby, Public Defender, and Karen E. Ehrlich, Assistant Public Defender, West Palm Beach, for appellant.
Robert A. Butterworth, Attorney General, Tallahassee, and Douglas Gurnic, Assistant Attorney General. Fort Lauderdale, for appellee.
We affirm as the arguments made on appeal were not preserved. See Tillman v. State, 471 So.2d 32, 35 (Fla. 1985). However, even if we were to consider his motion to suppress as raising the argument that he was illegally detained, thus tainting the subsequent search of his vehicle, we find it to be without merit. See Boydell v. State, 690 So.2d 746, 745 (Fla. 5th DCA 1997).
