ABATEMENT ORDER

These appeals were consolidated on appellees' motion September 5, 2017. Briefing is complete in cause number 14-17-00223-CV. Appellants' brief in cause number 14-17-00209-CV was filed March 15, 2018; appellees' brief is due April 16, 2018. On April 12, 2018, appellees filed an unopposed motion to extend time to file their brief in cause number 14-17-00209-CV, requesting an additional 30 days. Appellees' motion is granted, and we issue the following order.

To facilitate the submission of the consolidated appeals, both appeals are abated for all purposes except the filing of appellees' brief in cause number 14-17-00209-CV. Appellees' brief is due on or before May 17, 2018. The appeals will be reinstated on this court's active docket at that time, or when appellees' brief is filed in cause number 14-17-00209-CV. The court will also consider an appropriate motion to reinstate the appeals filed by any party, or the court may reinstate the appeals on its own motion.
