DAVID A. HARBOUR & ABBY L. HARBOUR, Petitioners, v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Mark V. Holmes Judge

This case was on the March 4, 2024 Las Vegas, Nevada trial calendar. It is the oldest case on that calendar and arises from petitioners' 2013 and 2014 tax years. It'd been continued three times and moved on and off status-report tracks.

We preemptively spoke with the parties discuss progress, and reached a consensus with them to move this case back onto a status-report track only when the district court in criminal case had ruled on a motion for new trial that was long pending.

A check of PACER shows that the district court has definitely denied all posttrial motions for a new trial and has entered a final judgment of conviction. It is therefore

ORDERED that on or before May 29, 2024 the parties file a status report setting out their views on how this case can now move forward to settlement or trial.
