In Hannigan v. S. Klein's Department Store, 1 Pa. D. C.3d 339 (affirmed per curiam 244 Pa. Super. 597, 371 A.2d 872 (1976)) the judge granted a remittitur of the punitive damages on the basis that it would bring those damages more in conformance with Pennsylvania case law.
