Opinion

No. 05-05-01111-CR

Opinion Issued August 29, 2005. DO NOT PUBLISH. Tex.R.App.P. 47.

On Appeal from the 199th Judicial District Court, Collin County, Texas, Trial Court Cause No. 199-80640-05. Dismissed.

Before Justices MORRIS, LANG, and MAZZANT.

MEMORANDUM OPINION

Mark Glen Hamrick appealed the trial court's "closing" of a pretrial hearing "without cause." Intermediate courts of appeal have no jurisdiction to review interlocutory orders absent express authority. Id. (citing Ex parte Apolinar, 820 S.W.2d 792, 794 (Tex.Crim.App. 1991)). Appellant's complaint does not involve the type of interlocutory order over which we have jurisdiction. See Wright v. State, 969 S.W.2d at 588, 589 (Tex.App.-Dallas 1998, no pet.). Accordingly, we dismiss the appeal for want of jurisdiction.
