Decedents' estates — Family settlement — Eliminating formal accounting by executors.
In this proceeding in an orphans' court on a petition filed in 1952 to compel the surviving executors of the decedent, who died in 1913 and whose will was probated in that year, to file an inventory, appraisement and an account, in which it appeared that in 1916 the widow and children entered into and consummated a family settlement, it was Held that (1) the family settlement dispensed with the necessity of a formal accounting by the surviving co-executors and (2) the petition was dismissed.
