DAKERRICK HAMILTON, Appellant v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, Appellee

On Appeal from the 282nd Judicial District Court Dallas County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. F19-76654-S

ORDER

NANCY KENNEDY JUSTICE

Before the Court is the letter dated March 3, 2024, and filed March 4, 2024, from court reporter Yolanda Atkins. In the letter, Ms. Atkins states that court reporter Norma Rico tendered her portion of the reporter's record to Ms. Atkins on February 28, 2024. However, she continues, "In combining the records, there are now discrepancies with the exhibits. I respectfully request additional time (brief) to resolve the discrepancies, or I can file the Reporter's Record without resolution?" We GRANT Ms. Atkins's request for extension of time to file the reporter's record, and we ORDER the complete reporter's record, including all exhibits, filed on or before MARCH 19, 2024. If the complete reporter's record is not filed by that date, the case may be abated again for the trial court to make findings concerning the reporter's record.

We DIRECT the Clerk to send copies of this order to Lisa Jackson, Official Court Reporter, 282nd District Court; Yolanda Atkins, Substitute Court Reporter; Norma Rico, Court Reporter; and counsel for all parties.
