Malcolm C. HALBARDIER, Appellant v. Arthur PEREZ, Appellee

From the County Court at Law No. 3, Bexar County, Texas
Trial Court No. 2016CV07203
Honorable David J. Rodriguez, Judge Presiding

ORDER

The appellee's brief was due on August 28, 2017. On August 25, 2017, the appellee filed a letter summarily asking us to uphold the trial court's judgment. The Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure require an appellee's brief to contain the contents outlined in Rule 38. Appellee's letter does not satisfy these requirements. We order that if appellee desires to file an appellee's brief in compliance with the Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure, he must do so by September 15, 2017. If no compliant brief is filed, this case may be submitted without an appellee's brief.

Luz Elena D. Chapa, Justice

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of the said court on this 31st day of August, 2017.
