This case was calendared for trial at the Court's Houston, Texas, remote trial session, which was scheduled to begin March 14, 2022. On February 22, 2022, respondent filed a Status Report apprising the Court that a basis for settlement in this case had been reached and that respondent requested more time to send and receive back from petitioners a signed decision document. On February 24, 2022, the Court issued an Order striking this case from the calendar and granting the parties until April 13, 2022, to file a Stipulated Decision or a Status Report apprising the Court of the then-present status of the case. On April 11, 2022, respondent filed a Motion to Change or Correct Caption indicating that petitioners had alerted them to an error in the caption. On April 12, 2022, respondent filed a Status Report apprising the Court that due to the caption error, they request more time to file the signed decision document. Upon due consideration, it is hereby
ORDERED that, on or before May 13, 2022, the parties shall submit to the Court either a stipulated decision or file a joint report (or separate reports, if preferred) regarding the then-present status of this case. It is further
ORDERED that the caption in this case is amended to read, "Habte Haile, Deceased, Elsa Gillamichael-Haile, Surviving Spouse and Elsa Gillamichael-Haile, Petitioners v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue, Respondent."
