MEMORANDUM OPINION
Appellant appeals orders signed by the trial court no later than June 5, 2003. Appellant filed her notice of appeal on October 16, 2003. Appellant filed a motion for new trial on October 17, 2003. By letter dated, December 3, 2003, the Court directed appellant to file a letter brief, no later than December 15, 2003, explaining how the Court has jurisdiction over this appeal. The letter warned appellant that failure to comply would result in dismissal of her appeal. Appellant responded by filing some papers which do not address the jurisdictional issues.
The clerk's record for this appeal was filed December 3, 2003 and the reporter's record was filed December 19, 2003. Appellant filed her brief on the merits on January 6, 2004. By letter dated, January 7, 2004, the Court informed appellant that her brief was deficient and directed appellant to file an amended brief within ten days of the date of the letter. The letter warned appellant that failure to comply would result in dismissal of her appeal. To date, appellant has not filed an amended brief. Accordingly, the Court DISMISSES this appeal for want of prosecution. Tex.R.App.P. 42.3.
