On Appeal from the Criminal District Court No. 6 Dallas County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. F23-77026
ORDER
NANCY KENNEDY JUSTICE
Before the Court is court reporter Marissa Garza's December 11, 2024 request for extension of time to file the reporter's record. The record was originally due August 29, 2024. This Court sua sponte granted Ms. Garza a thirty-day extension on August 30, 2024. On October 7, 2024, this Court ordered Ms. Garza to file the reporter's record on or before November 7, 2024. We cautioned Ms. Garza that if she did not file the reporter's record by that date, the Court might order that she not sit as a court reporter until the complete reporter's record is filed. On November 7, 2024, Ms. Garza filed a request for extension, which this Court granted, ordering Ms. Garza to file the reporter's record by December 6, 2024. Ms. Garza states in the December 11, 2024 request for extension that "I will have it delivered by Monday, 12/16/2024. No more delays or extensions will be needed."
We grant the request, and we ORDER Ms. Garza to file the reporter's record no later than DECEMBER 16, 2024. We again caution Ms. Garza that if she fails to file the complete reporter's record by that date, the Court will utilize whatever remedies it has available, which may include ordering that she not sit as a court reporter until she files the complete reporter's record in this appeal.
We DIRECT the Clerk to send copies of this order to the Honorable Nancy Mulder, Presiding Judge, Criminal District Court No. 6, Dallas County; Marissa Garza, Official Court Reporter, Criminal District Court No. 6; Christina O'Neil, Chief Judicial Staff Counsel for the Criminal District Courts, Dallas County; and counsel for all parties.
