CIARA LYNN GREEN, Appellant v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, Appellee

On Appeal from the 212th District Court Galveston County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. 11CR1919

ORDER

On December 19, 2016, appellant's court-appointed counsel filed a brief in which he concludes the appeal is wholly frivolous and without merit. See Anders v. California, 386 U.S. 738 (1967). On December 28, 2016, we notified counsel that his brief was deficient because it failed to include a copy of counsel's transmittal letter to appellant as well as counsel's motion to withdraw. On January 7, 2017, counsel filed both of the requested documents. On March 9, 2017, we notified counsel that he has failed to provide the court with appellant's last known mailing address. No response has been filed.

Accordingly, we order the brief STRICKEN. Counsel shall file a brief that complies with the requirements of Anders and Kelly v. State, 436 S.W.3d 313 (Tex. Crim. App. 2014), by May 17, 2017. Information and materials about Anders filings may be found on the court's website.
