ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE

Joseph W. Nega, Judge.

This case was called from the calendar on May 1, 2023, at the Albany, New York, remote trial session of the Court. There was no appearance by or on behalf of petitioners. Counsel for respondent appeared and filed with the Court a motion to dismiss for lack of prosecution.

At the calendar call, various representatives from local tax clinics were present to assist petitioners. The Syracuse University College of Law advised the Court that it may be available to assist petitioners with this case. Upon due consideration, and for cause more fully appearing in the transcript of the proceedings, it is

ORDERED that respondent's motion to dismiss for lack of prosecution is taken under advisement. It is further

ORDERED that on or before May 31, 2023, petitioners show cause in writing why respondent's motion should not be granted.

Petitioners are advised that the failure to respond to this Order to Show Cause may result in the dismissal of the case and entry of decision as requested in respondent's motion.
