MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS, § 264.1garbage collection by municipality as not governmental function. In action for personal injuries resulting from collision between automobile owned by plaintiff and municipal garbage truck, judgment for plaintiff would be affirmed since collection and disposition of garbage was not governmental function and city was liable for negligence of its employees in performing such service.

Appeal from the Circuit Court of Cook county; the Hon. DANIEL P. TRUDE, Judge, presiding.

Judgment affirmed. Heard in the third division, first district, this court at the December term, 1945.
