TREVOR GRANT, Appellant v. WILLIS INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT, Appellee

On Appeal from the 284th District Court Montgomery County, Texas
Trial Cause No. 16-04-04533-CV

MEMORANDUM OPINION

On May 3, 2017, we notified the appellant, Trevor Grant, of defects in a document that had been forwarded to the Court of Appeals as a notice of appeal, and we ordered the appellant to file a signed notice of appeal that contains the information required by the Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure. See Tex. R. App. P. 9.1(b) (Signing by Unrepresented Parties); 9.5(e) (Service Certificate Requirements); 25.1(d) (Contents of Notice of Appeal). We further notified the appellant that the amended notice of appeal must be filed by May 18, 2017, or the appeal would be dismissed. See Tex. R. App. P. 42.3. No response has been received by the Court.

The appellant failed to comply with a notice from the Clerk of the Court requiring a response within a specific time. Id. Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed.

APPEAL DISMISSED.
