On appeal from the County Court at Law No. 2 of Nueces County, Texas.

ORDER OF ABATEMENT

Per Curiam

This cause is currently before the Court on an unopposed motion for extension of time to file a combined appellants' reply and cross-appellees' brief. The briefing schedule began on June 6, 2023. On July 6, 2023, we granted a joint motion allowing for a modified briefing schedule in this matter. Since that date, several extensions for the time to file briefs have been granted.

The Court, having fully examined and considered the extensions previously granted in this cause and the current pending motion is of the opinion that the matter should be abated to allow time to finalize the briefs. Accordingly, the unopposed motion is granted, the cause abated, and the combined appellants' reply and cross-appellees' brief is now due to be filed on or before April 1, 2024. The cause will be reinstated upon the completion of briefing.
