ROGER H. GRACE, Petitioner v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Jennifer E. Siegel Special Trial Judge.

On December 8, 2023, the Court held a conference call with the parties and set this case for hearing on December 12, 2023. The case was called from the calendar, and both petitioner and respondent's counsel appeared. However, despite the representations in the pretrial memoranda, none of the issues in the case appear to have been resolved, and questions about petitioner's entitlement to a net operating loss deduction remain. Petitioner provided respondent with copies of prior years' tax returns, and the parties confirmed that they would continue to work together to resolve as many issues as possible on their own.

Premises considered, it is

ORDERED that this case is continued and jurisdiction retained by the undersigned. It is further

ORDERED that, on or before January 18, 2024, the parties shall file with the Court a joint status report concerning the then-present status of this case.
