ORDER

Kathleen Kerrigan Chief Judge.

The petition filed to commence this case on April 6, 2023, does not bear the original signature of petitioner or the original signature of a practitioner admitted to practice before the Tax Court, as required by the Tax Court Rules of Practice and Procedure. By Order served April 26, 2023, the Court directed petitioner, on or before May 26, 2023, to pay the filing fee in this case. By Order served May 3, 2023, the Court directed petitioner, on or before June 16, 2023, to ratify and affirm the petition filed on his behalf in this case. Petitioner has not complied with the Court's Order. On June 22, 2023, the Court dismissed this case for lack of jurisdiction because petitioner failed to pay the filing fee. On July 27, 2023, petitioner paid the filing fee. The Court has vacated the Order of Dismissal, served June 22, 2023.

For cause, it is

ORDERED that the time within which petitioner shall file a ratification of petition, bearing his original signature (preferably in blue ink), is extended to August 18, 2023. If no such ratification of petition is received by August 18, 2023, the Court may dismiss this case for lack of jurisdiction.
