On Appeal from the 129th District Court Harris County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. 2022-16349
Panel Consists of Justices Jewell, Bourliot, and Zimmerer
ORDER
PER CURIAM
The reporter's record in this case was due June 25, 2024. See Tex. R. App. P. 35.1. We have granted the court reporter two extensions of time to file the record until September 26, 2024. On September 27, 2024, the court reporter attempted to file the record, but this court's clerk's office rejected the filing because it did not comply with the Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure. We instructed the court reporter to refile the record within one business day.
To date, the record has not been filed with the court. Because the reporter's record was not filed within the time prescribed in the previous request, we issue the following order.
We order Jennifer Gajevskuy, the court reporter, to file the record in this appeal within 10 days of the date of this order. No further extension will be entertained absent exceptional circumstances. The trial and appellate courts are jointly responsible for ensuring that the appellate record is timely filed. See Tex. R. App. P. 35.3(c). If does not timely file the record as ordered, we may issue an order directing the trial court to conduct a hearing to determine the reason for the failure to file the record.
