On June 20, 2017, we stayed this appeal based on the parties' agreement "to stay and abate all proceedings in the above-referenced trial court and appellate matters pending finalization of settlement." We directed appellants, G.R. Auto Care, Radita Gheorghe, and Laurentio Gheorghe, to file a motion to reinstate the appeal or provide a report advising of the status of the settlement proceedings no later than July 20, 2017. On August 24, 2017, we directed appellants to file a motion to reinstate the appeal or advise the Court of the status of the settlement proceedings no later than September 25, 2017, and notified them that, absent a response, the Court might reinstate the appeal. Because appellants have not filed with the Court any report or motion, the case is REINSTATED on the Court's active docket and the appeal will proceed under the applicable Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure.
Accordingly, appellants' brief is due to be filed within 30 days of the date of this order. See TEX. R. APP. P. 38.6(d).
