TODD A. GOVIG & APRIL M. MCGRATH, ET AL., Petitioners v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent
ORDER
Kathleen Kerrigan, Chief Judge.
On August 13, 2024, petitioners in each of these consolidated cases filed a Motion for Leave to File First Amended Petition and lodged therewith a First Amended Petition. However, upon review of the foregoing, the Court notes that the Motions and accompanying First Amended Petitions are improper, insofar as each relates to both cases. That is, the Motions seek leave to file amended pleadings containing assignments of error and allegations of fact that relate to both cases.
Upon due consideration and for cause, it is
ORDERED that petitioners' Motion for Leave is denied. It is further
ORDERED that, on or before September 6, 2024, petitioners in each of these cases shall file a revised motion for leave and lodge therewith a revised amended petition containing specific assignments of error and allegations of fact that relate only to the case in which such motion and amended petition have been filed.
