JOSEPH R. GOTTESMAN, Petitioner v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Kathleen Kerrigan Chief Judge

On August 30, 2022, petitioner's wife, Tiena Lou Dubois, filed a Motion to Stay Proceedings, informing the Court that petitioner is in bad health at the current time and requesting that the proceedings in this case be stayed. On September 22, 2022, respondent filed a Notice of No Objection to Motion to Stay Proceedings. Petitioner's wife has not demonstrated that she is lawfully authorized to represent petitioner before this Court. However, we will direct the parties to file status reports to allow petitioner time to deal with his serious health issues.

Upon due consideration, it is

ORDERED that, on or before November 30, 2022, the parties shall file status reports (preferably a joint report) concerning the then-current status of this case. It is further

ORDERED that the Motion to Stay Proceedings is deemed moot.
