ORDER
LORI I. VALENZUELA, JUSTICE.
On November 3, 2023, the trial court entered an order appointing receivers. On November 6, 2023, appellant filed his notice of accelerated appeal with this court. On November 8, 2023, appellant filed a "Verified Motion for Emergency Temporary Relief from Order Appointing Receiver" (the "Motion") requesting an emergency stay of the trial court's order appointing receivers during the pendency of this appeal.
After perfection of an appeal from an interlocutory order, as here, this court has discretion to make any temporary orders necessary to preserve the parties' rights until disposition of the appeal. Tex.R.App.P. 29.3. This court believes a serious question concerning appellant's requested relief requires further consideration. Accordingly, the trial court's November 3, 2023 order appointing receivers is STAYED pending further order of this court.
If appellee wishes to respond to the Motion, appellee may file a response no later than November 28, 2023. If appellant wishes for this court to consider reporter's records in disposing of the Motion, appellant may cause to be filed with this court, no later than November 27, 2023, (1) any such reporter's records or (2) a status report reflecting the efforts undertaken by appellant to obtain such records and the estimated date the records will be filed.
