On August 22, 2024, the Court abated this appeal for mediation, and we directed the parties and the mediator to advise the Court within 50 days as to whether the parties did or did not settle the underlying dispute. To date, we have not heard from the parties or the mediator. Accordingly, we order appellant to file either a motion to dismiss the appeal or a notice of the status of the parties' dispute within 10 days of the date of this order. If a response is not received by the deadline, this Court may dismiss the appeal for failing to comply with this Court's orders. See TEX. R. APP. P. 42.3(c).
