OPINION :
On April 19, 2018, the parties appeared for an initial pretrial conference, (see Dkt. Entry dated 4/19/2018), after which I entered a case management plan and scheduling, which stated that all discovery was to be completed no later than November 15, 2018, (Doc. 19). On May 7, 2018, Plaintiffs amended the complaint to add certain Defendants. (Doc. 22.) Defendants moved to partially dismiss the amended complaint on various bases. (Doc. 23-25.) On March 14, 2019, I granted in part and denied in part Defendants' motion. (Doc. 34.) The following day, Magistrate Judge Sarah Netburn instructed the parties to contact her chambers to schedule a settlement conference. (Doc. 35.) On April 10, 2019, Plaintiffs filed a second amended complaint, (Doc. 36), and Defendants filed an answer on April 26, 2019, (Doc. 38). Accordingly, it is hereby:
ORDERED that, no later than July 12, 2019, the parties shall submit a joint letter of no more than five (5) pages, providing an update on the status of any settlement discussions, the status of discovery, and any other matters the parties wish to bring to my attention. If the parties believe that additional discovery is necessary, they shall attach to their joint letter a revised proposed case management plan and scheduling order.
