ABEL GONZALEZ, Appellant, v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, State.

Appeal from the 399th District Court of Bexar County, Texas (TC# 2020-CR-11841)

Before Alley, C.J., Palafox and Soto JJ.

ORDER

PER CURIAM

By Order dated January 12, 2024, this Court abated this appeal because the deadline to file Appellant's brief had passed and no brief had been filed. The Order remanded to the trial court for a hearing to determine whether Appellant wished to continue this appeal.

The Appellant's brief along with a motion for leave for late filing of Appellant's brief has this day been filed. Therefore, on the Court's own motion, the above styled and numbered cause is hereby REINSTATED. Appellant's motion for leave for late filing of Appellant's brief is GRANTED. Because Appellant's brief has been filed, this Court's January 12, 2024 Order is moot, and a hearing on this matter is no longer required.

IT IS SO ORDERED
