Pedro Gonzalez & Adriana E. Gonzalez Petitioners v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue Respondent

ORDER

Maurice B. Foley Chief Judge

By Order issued November 18, 2021, the Court directed petitioners, on or before December 30, 2021, to pay the Court's $60.00 filing fee in this case (or to file an application for waiver of filing fee for consideration). On December 22, 2021, petitioners filed an Application for Waiver of Filing Fee. Based upon our examination of petitioners' Application, the Court concludes that petitioners have failed to establish they lack the financial ability to pay the Court's filing fee in this case. Upon due consideration, it is

ORDERED that petitioners' Application for Waiver of Filing Fee filed December 22, 2021, is denied. It is further

ORDERED that the time within which petitioners shall pay the filing fee, is extended to January 18, 2022. If, by January 18, 2022, the Court's $60.00 filing fee in this case is not received, the Court may dismiss this case for lack of jurisdiction.
