Manuel GONZALES, Appellant v. THE ANNEX APARTMENTS, Appellee

From the County Court At Law No. 10, Bexar County, Texas Trial Court No. 2024CV06540 Honorable Cesar Garcia, Judge Presiding

ORDER

Liza A. Rodriguez, Justice

The court reporter filed a notification stating that no reporter's record was taken in this case. The clerk's record was filed on September 20, 2024. Accordingly, appellant's brief was due on October 21, 2024. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.6(a) (stating appellant's brief is due within 30 days after the later of the date the clerk's record is filed or the date the reporter's record is filed). Neither the appellant's brief nor a motion for extension of time have been filed.

We, therefore, ORDER appellant to show cause in writing, on or before December 2, 2024, why this appeal should not be dismissed for want of prosecution. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.8(a)(1) (allowing appellate courts to dismiss an appeal for want of prosecution when an appellant fails to timely file a brief); see also Tex. R. App. P. 42.3(c) (allowing appellate courts to dismiss an appeal when an appellant fails to comply with a court order).
