Appellant's brief was due to be filed by March 15, 2017. Neither the brief nor a motion for extension of time was filed. By order dated March 22, 2017, appellant was ordered to show cause in writing by April 6, 2017, why this appeal should not be dismissed for want of prosecution. TEX. R. APP. P. 38.8(a). Appellant did not respond to this court's order. Therefore, this appeal is dismissed for want of prosecution.
