Thomas D. Golda & Lisa A. Golda Petitioners v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue Respondent

ORDER

Emin Toro Judge

This case is currently set for trial during the Court's November 15, 2021, Dallas, Texas, remote trial session. On September 27, 2021, petitioners filed a Motion for Continuance (Doc. 61) and a Motion to Extend Standing Pretrial Order Deadline for Motions Related to Discovery or Stipulations (Doc. 62).

On October 1, 2021, the Court held a conference call with the parties to discuss the status of the case and petitioners' pending motions. Respondent's counsel does not believe that a continuance is necessary at this time given the progress the parties are making. As agreed by the parties, the Court will deny petitioners' motions without prejudice to the parties seeking a continuance shortly before the trial session if they are unable to resolve the case before then.

Upon due consideration, it is hereby

ORDERED that petitioners' Motion for Continuance is denied without prejudice. It is further

ORDERED that petitioners' Motion to Extend Standing Pretrial Order Deadline for Motions Related to Discovery or Stipulations is denied without prejudice.
