WRIT GRANTED; REMANDED WITH INSTRUCTIONS AND FOR PERFECTION OF APPEAL .
The trial court's June 21, 2024, judgment granting summary judgment is a final and appealable judgment. La. C.C.P. arts. 1841 and 2083. Applicant's notice of intent to seek supervisory review was timely as a motion for appeal under Shows v. Shows, 434 So.2d 1090 (La. 1983).
We note, however, that the June 21,2024, judgment lacks the necessary decretal language under La. C. C.P. art. 1918(A), because it fails to identify the specific name of the party in whose favor the relief is awarded, the specific name of the party against whom the relief is awarded, and the claims or parties being dismissed. The trial court is instructed to amend the judgment, in accordance with La. C.C.P. arts. 1918 and 1951, within 30 days of the date of this order, for inclusion in the record to be lodged on appeal.
Accordingly, the writ is granted, and the matter is remanded with instructions for amendment of the judgment and perfection of the appeal.
