ORDER OF ABATEMENT
Terry Adams, Judge.
Appellants and appellee have filed a joint motion to abate the appeal pending finalization of a proceeding in the South Carolina Court of Appeals. We grant the motion.
Accordingly, we abate the appeal and direct the Clerk of this Court to treat it as a closed case and to remove it from this Court's active docket. This appeal will be reinstated on this Court's active docket after the parties notify this Court of the finalization of the proceeding in the South Carolina Court of Appeals.
This Court will also consider a motion to reinstate filed by either party or a motion to dismiss the appeal. No later than 180 days from the date of this order, the parties shall file a motion to reinstate and dismiss the appeal, a motion to reinstate and proceed with the appeal, or a report advising the Court of the status of the South Carolina proceedings. If the parties do not respond as directed, the case may be reinstated on the Court's active docket and the appeal will proceed under the applicable Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure.
It is so ORDERED.
