Extension of time denied

The Stipulation Extending Time to File Respondent's Answer Brief on the Merits and Appellant's Reply Brief to Answer Brief, filed in the above-entitled matter on September 11, 2017, is denied. (See Cal. Rules of Ct., rule 8.250 (a)(5) [in the Supreme Court “[t]he time to serve and file a brief may not be extended by stipulation but only by order of the Chief Justice under rule 8.60].) The denial is without prejudice to either party requesting an extension of time for good cause pursuant to rule 8.60.
