The following order was passed.

The Supreme Court today granted the writ of certiorari in this case.

All the Justices concur, except Ellington, J., who dissents.

Colvin, J., disqualified.

This case will be assigned to the February 2022 oral argument calendar automatically under Supreme Court Rule 50 (2), as amended September 13, 1996. Oral argument is mandatory in granted certiorari cases.

This Court is particularly concerned with the following issue or issues:

What factors should be considered by a trial court in ruling on a motion for a protective order under OCGA § 9-11-26 (c) that seeks to prevent the deposition of a high-ranking officer and what is the appropriate burden of proof as to those factors?

Briefs should be submitted only on these points. See Supreme Court Rule 45.
